Is Permafrost on PS5, Xbox or Switch?
Updated 2026-10-14 · Last checked 2026-10-14 · Early Access
Windows Early Access is available on Steam, GOG and Epic Games Store. PS5 is announced: its official PlayStation Store page says the release date is to be determined. That is not a playable PS5 release today. Xbox, PS4 and Switch remain unconfirmed in the official sources checked on 14 October 2026.
I checked PlayStation concept 10010185 directly, not just the PC store pages. It displays Announced, Add to Wishlist and PS5 Version, without a date or purchase offer. Steam lists Windows support, but no native Mac or Linux build. Compatibility layers are a different question from native platform support.

What the PC version includes
The live build is the Early Access Windows game: single-player, online co-op for up to four people, Steam Cloud, achievements, and partial controller support. Controller support does not mean a console release exists.
